About This Project

The exhibition design for “Fiera motore del Made in Italy” by Fondazione Fiera Milano, translated the concept of a “narrative environment” through the metaphor of archival packaging. In this vision, dynamic staging was not employed as a tool for entertainment, but as a rigorous instrument to articulate a story: a composition of large white volumes evoked the physical transfer of the Foundation’s documentary heritage into the museum space.

Consisting of twenty-one modules and nineteen vertical monitors, the structure generated a continuous visual flow where images migrated across screens, reconnecting the intuition of vintage posters with their corresponding industrial products. This system allowed visitors to inhabit a fluid, bidirectional narrative, transforming archival material into an experience where technology is a direct function of history.

The project confirms that when space is designed as a narrative environment, it becomes an active interpreter of collective memory, restoring a vital temporal dimension to historical documents.
