About This Project

At Masino Castle, FAI opens the Savoy Hall after three years of restoration that have brought to light a surprising cycle of frescoes from the late seventeenth century perfectly preserved and hitherto hidden by the coats of painting of a subsequent setting. To tell the public about the frescoes of the Salone and to invite them to discover the many stories, symbols and references it contains, a new space is dedicated to the in-depth study of the ex-loggia overlooking the landscape adjacent to the Salone, with four touch-screen videos and a copy of the Theatrum Sabaudiae available to visitors.
