“Ancora qui_Prologo” is open

Combining contemporary art, photography, installation and performance, Arcora qui_Prologo (Still here_Prologue) seeks to restore the sense of memory preservedi n this place. A travelling archive, marked by objects found during restoration work, in dialogue with rare documents that bear witness to lesser-known aspects of daily life at the RAP (the Real Albergo dei Poveri) and signs of contemporary artists.

“Arcora qui” (Still here) is the prologue to a journey of research and storytelling: a journey that starts from the things that have been found, an invitation to recognise that memory is never complete but continues to form and speak over time, through what remains. A work that will be built, step by step, with new discoveries, new perspectives, new memories.

“Because every object, every trace, every signof life is still here. And continues to speak to us”.
