It is evening when Floria Tosca sings the aira “Vissi d’arte”, an intimate passage, a reflective moment during the lively flow of Giacomo Puccini’s drama, and it is an evening setting illuminated only by the cold and lunar light of ten projectors, for Design | Opera, more than a design exhibition, an aria, a movement inspired by the shifting flow of life. Design | Opera does not want to celebrate the object itself, it wants to represent the connection that exists between things, forms, and feelings that cross, connect, and move away from each other in an endless evolution.
