The protagonists of this exhibition are the precious volumes from the Turin State Archives and Royal Library.
These ancient books are arranged on large tables within the suggestive setting of the Turin Archives as if they had just been consulted by a scholar. Each table is enclosed within a showcase thus creating an air of suspense.
The subject of the multimedia narration is the knowledge contained within each volume. Video projections come to life in the centre of each large table amongst the original books. We enter the images and words of the manuscripts and printed volumes as if following the thoughts of a scholar. With an imaginary magnifying glass we discover important details accessing a level of depth that would otherwise be impossible.
