On display are a large selection of iconic pieces that have left their mark on the history of Italian and international design from the 1950s to the present. The layout of the exhibition engages and inspires the visitors, with objects and furnishings that display their innovative shapes, the small and large technological advances they represent, their interpretations of the social needs and moods they fulfill, and clarify their endurance in our imagination and our lives.

100% Original Design wants to emphasize the creativity in design in the period after WWII through to today, spread across Italy and the world by the founders of the international companies, who still uphold the tradition of design and entreprenership, and by the dozens of designers and architects who were part of it and still are today.

A  synthesis of the immense heritage of the objects, ideas, and women and men who entered our homes, the history of design, corporate case histories, and museums all over the world.

The exhibition is complemented by video interviews, statistics and information on industrial counterfeiting, and images of objects that have left their mark on the history of Italian design.
